We Are Still Here is the story of the Council Grounds at Red Clay. This location was the setting for the last years of deliberation by the Cherokee People before their forced removal by Andrew Jackson to government lands in Oklahoma.
John Ross of the National Party and Major Ridge of the Treaty Party and others presented alternate views to those gathered to consider their choices on the eve of the event that came to be known as the Trail of Tears.
This video serves as the Visitor Center Introduction at Red Clay State Historic Park in Southeastern Bradley County, Tennessee.
